Internet of Things

At the beginning there were only words. In fact, there were pictures, because we have learned how to draw earlier than how to speak. It took us thousands of years to learn how to send words and images over distance.

Less than a century later, we decided to teach objects how to respond to our will hidden behind words and images. And that is how the idea of the Internet of Things has emerged — wireless transmission of our orders to devices such as an automatic vacuum cleaner, refrigerator that will do shopping for us, or a sensor that will know if it is too hot outside and will turn on the air conditioning by itself.

Smart devices require an intelligent communication network. Emitel builds LPWAN (low-power wide-area network) in the LoRaWAN standard so that your objects can communicate without consuming too much power, allowing them for long operation time without the need to replace or recharge batteries.
