Radio planning
Radio planning consists in simulating the radio coverage of a specific area as per the specification of particular radio systems, taking account of natural topography and of the theory of propagation of radio waves.
Emitel has an experienced team of highly qualified technicians and uses expert software for propagation analysis. On the basis of input data, the software specifies forecasted signal levels and the availability of radio services around the broadcasting station at the assumed probability level.
We perform analysis and reports on the following topics for our Customers as well as for in-house purposes:
- Analogue and digital (DVB-T, DVB-H) terrestrial television
- FM terrestrial radio transmission
- Land mobile radio communication systems
- Wireless networks (PtP, PtMP)
